BEAUTY

I feel like in a way that beauty can be constructed to a point of absurdity. It becomes something that isn't beauty anymore and becomes this artificial monster that creates a self conscious individual out of it. There are many times where people have to constantly compare themselves to these poster board images of these models and such. By constructing these imperfect human beings, there is this damage you are doing to other individuals out there. Every person has seen that well constructed model on TV or the web and has become this robot that advertisements and such, have created. With this being said even models like Cameron Russell understand that models are constructed. By showing side by side pictures that demonstrate how superficial these models actually are. It creates a more mature and domineering look than what they actually look like in reality. It's pretty sad that these models can get that self conscious and feel that bad about themselves after these photo shoots are done and finished. It's actually really funny that a lot of social media deals with this kind of concept and even stars like Beyonce have created songs demonstrating this kind of problem in the long run. There should be more of a distance between what is reality and what is just the construction of an individual. With this said more people like Cameron Russel and other models should talk about the, not so much dangers, but the overarching negatives to the modeling industry. And why it can be harmful to an individual and the people around that person.
